Fate vs. Free Will in Astrology

Astrology has always asked one of humanity’s oldest questions: how much of life is written—and how much do we write ourselves? The stars describe patterns and timing, but they don’t erase choice. Every chart holds both constraint and creativity: fate sets the stage, free will directs the play.

In astrological language, fate is symbolic patterning—the structures we inherit through birth (our chart) and through time (our transits). Fate is Saturn setting boundaries, Pluto demanding transformation, Jupiter offering a window of growth. These cycles are not commands—they’re conditions.
